We were instructed by a lovely family based in Chislehurst, Kent, who were planning a complete garden makeover.

A large landscaping project, encompassing:

Split-level landscape design
Outdoor kitchen
Sunken-seating area with a gas firepit
Porcelain tiling throughout
Swimming pool
Brand new planting scheme
Garden room.

As part of the overall garden landscape design, our client’s requirement was for a pool house. The Pool House was going to be somewhere for our client, their family and friends to change & chill after a leisurely swim in the newly installed swimming pool.

We discussed various designs from our range, however, they were keen on a bespoke garden room design.

This garden room design required plenty of glazing, a contemporary finish and a covered seating area to enjoy the new landscaped garden.

Our solution was a beautiful timber-clad design, with an overall size of 8m x 3m x 2.5m, powder-coated aluminium corners, flashing & fascia, a 3m x 3m covered canopy section with matching grey composite decking.

With 2 sets of aluminium sliding doors (Origin Global) and a slim, floor-to-ceiling aluminium window, we ensured there was a nice flow to the building with good access and plenty of light. All of the glazing was finished in the same RAL colour as the aluminium fascia, flashing and trims.

Electrics and data were installed by our team, including a unique anti-glare downlight by Aurora Lighting. Finishing off with plastering, decorating and a herringbone flooring.

As the Pool House was going to be on level 2 of the garden design (and in direct view of the top level), the roof design & finish was going to need careful consideration. We designed a metal roof, fabricated and then finished in the same RAL colour as the fascia, flashing, trims and glazing.
